Francesco Mazza – Writer, Director
Francesco Mazza was born in Milan, Italy. His career began as co-host in a TV-show for teens on the national channel “Italia 1”. He then became a TV writer and for 9 years he worked for one of the most famous Italian TV-show, the satirical newscast “Striscia La Notizia”.

In these years he also wrote for many different shows, ranging over many fields, from journalism to sit coms.

After moving to New York in 2014, he wrote and directed the pilot episode of the web series “Vera Bes”, officially selected at the Marseille Web Fest and multi-award winning at the L.A. Web Fest.

He is best known as the acclaimed director of the 2015 underground hit documentary Sky Arte’s Graffiti A New York.
This documentary, shot for both the English speaking and Italian markets, traces the roots of New York’s early street art and graffiti scene and follows it through the decades to its’ blossoming current day presence in the art world.

In 2015 Francesco’s short fictional film Frankie: Italian Roulette was awarded “Best Short Film” at the Oaxaca Film Festival. Frankie , which was shot for the US market, is the story of a recent immigrant to the US struggling to avoid being deported back to Europe who is presented with a dark and dangerous opportunity to risk everything for a shot at the American dream. In addition to being celebrated as a critic’s favorite at Oaxaca, Frankie was recently screened to delighted audiences at both the Big Apple Film Festival and the Lone Star Film Festival.

Desiree Elle – Actress, Writer, Director
Desiree is an actress and singer with a diverse background. Born in Montreal, Canada from a French father and a Venezuelan mother, she grew up living between Montreal and Paris and began her career performing in plays and different venues. She quickly became known for her soulful pop sound and for performing in English, French and Spanish, the languages she grew up speaking. After appearances in TV & Commercials, Desiree integrated the Actors Studio Drama School in New York City where she earned a Masters in Fine Arts (MFA) in Acting.

She had her Off-Broadway debut in 2011 in a dark drama titled Broken Bones and has since been seen & heard on & off screen in Theatre, Film & TV and has lent her voice to a variety of projects.

Valentina Caniglia – Director of Photography
She is known for her work on the film “Pomegranates and Myrrh”, winner of the Golden Dagger for Best Cinematography, premiered in USA at Sundance film Festival ; “Shade Of Love” winner of best cinematography award at the Hoboken International Film Festival ; “Fred Won’t Move Out” nominated for best cinematography by the AIC IMAGO award starring Elliott Gould ; and the critically acclaimed film “Assolo”.

In Addition, Valentina filmed for HBO, Canal Plus, Showtime TV, RAI, and Voyage TV, Netflix for whom she filmed underwater cinematography in the Caribbean, Italy and Egypt.

Caroline Mariko Stucky – Writer, Director
Caroline Mariko Stucky is an award winning Swiss-Japanese independent filmmaker with a fierce passion for American culture.
As a director, the 2013-2014 season has marked the premieres of her two short films Paper Boats and Color/Blind in New York, as well as the beginning of work for her new feature film Merry-Go-Round, to be shot in Switzerland and France.

As a screenwriter, highlights of her work have included two feature films, Leyla’s Empire State (2012), MGR (2013), and a spec script for How I met your mother (2013), as well as a myriad of short films, including Off Side (2009), and Caïssa (2012), which won the LIFF Award of Merit in 2012, and both of which she also directed.

Taso Mikroulis – Actor
Being honored with the artistic achievement award upon graduating with this degree in Film/Theater at Deree University (The American College of Greece), Taso just wrapped as Radames in the Musical AIDA, and is currently off broadway in the hit show “My Big Gay Italian Funeral”. His short film, “Prego”, just snatched up it’s second best comedic award by the NYC Chain Film Festival!

Taso is currently has numerous indie films in the festival market and has 2 films currently in post production. He’s preparing to film yet another film at the end of the year called “Pickings”.

Luigi Porto – Sound Designer, Composer
Born in Cosenza (Italy) and living in New York City, he worked in the sound and music section of over 30 films screened at festivals worldwide:

Cannes, Venezia, Roma, Torino, Locarno, Berlin, Toronto, BAFTA, Tampa International, Hoboken and Academy Awards, for the list lovers.

As a composer, he released solo albums with his own name (Scimmie, Cineploit, 2014) as Appleyard College (Look At Me, Cold Current, 2006) Mond (My My After World, CT Music, 2004) and with the Italian collective Maisie (Balera Metropolitana, 2008). Since 2013 he is one of the resident composers and Chief Sound Designer at NY International Brazilian Opera company,

As a sound expert he collaborates with magazines, publications, and music software companies. In the contemporary art world, his works have been premièred at MACRO, Romaeuropa, Affordable Art Fair, No Longer Empty.​
